My name was Mr Needles, and my tattoo studio was called
SKULLMASTERS.
I came up with the name because I like tattooing skull
designs and it became my speciality as it were.
Alot of my clients were bikers so naturally skulls
played a big part in their tats.
I started tattooing way back in 1978 and in that
time I have tattooed a hell of a lot of people, from all
walks of life. At one time I was running a mobile studio
working on the local markets.
I used to work from an old ambulance
that was kitted out into a complete studio.
I worked mobile for about three years.
I have noticed over the last few of years though, that
the amount of females getting tattooed has risen
dramatically, infact it is now fashionable for females to be
tattooed! When I first started it wasn't the done thing for
a girl to have a tattoo.
